Nukeproof Mega TR Pro 2015 – It’s in the blood

Often labelled as a downhillers XC bike, the Mega TR blends versatility with performance. We tell ourselves we’re only going for an easy ride, we’re not going to race our friends, but deep down we already know whats going to happen.
The Mega TR brings out the aggression and desire to push harder and ride faster as its capability shines through and provides confidence to smash each turn, skip over rough sections and pop off hidden takeoffs that never existed while riding your last bike.
Custom Hydroformed Frame with Erosion Linkage
The Mega TR frameset is engineered from custom hydroformed double-welded T6 6061 aluminium, with 130mm of rear travel via our Nukeproof progressive ‘Erosion’ linkage suspension action.
Oversize main bearing pivots straddle a bespoke CNC-machined Bottom Bracket assembly to ensure alignment, durability and precision, while the chainstay design gives clearance for a front derailleur and compatibility with all leading models of ISCG – mounted chain retention systems.
Geometry is based around an aggressive 67deg head angle and steep 73.5deg seat angle, with a long wheelbase keeping the centre of gravity low for optimum stability at speed.
