Here at D&D Cycles we tackled the Southdowns Way in 13 hours which is 100 miles off-road with over 12,000ft and the bike we chose? The Orbea Alma albeit the M20 model but using the same frameset we tackled the Southdowns Way and it was unstoppable. The comfort of this carbon hardtail is second to none while also remaining stiff where needed. Orbea are known for this across all their carbon frames by creating a monocoque carbon frame they can lay the carbon up for different characteristics where needed in the frame while keeping the frame stiff and super light by removing any excess material that is not needed resulting in their OMR framesets coming in at a crazy 990g!
