The Transition Scout Carbon? Thats one way to improve one of the most playful bike you will ever ride! Carbon gives this bike a weight saving of 1Ib which is quite significant for a do it all playful trail bike.

The Scout is the Patrols little brother but don’t be fooled this bike is super capable and suited so well to our surrounding area of trails. If you like getting rowdy on the downhills but like to smash out the uphills because your so fit and enduro! then this weapon is a great choice for someone who doesn’t want to compromise and wants to make their overall ride fun and quicker!

Transition have a long history of great steeds that are big on performance but short on travel. Their Bottlerocket took the freeride market to the next level and helped move the freeride category away from long travel dual crown forks towards modern slopestyle rigs.

As time went on we saw a lot of riders using the Bottlerocket as an all round trail bike, something that was fun on the jump “flow trails” and gave the rider a lot more confidence than a traditional trail bike. The scout has much of the same feel, but without the added weight. It’s responsive on the trail, ready to manual at any moment and crisp handling like a sports car!

The suspension is active and rides high in the travel on the Transition Scout carbon, so despite having only 125mm of rear travel, the Scout is our most capable and confident trail bike ever. Although the Scout shares a lot of the look with the Patrol, and both have similar builds, they each have their own distinct ride feel.
