2018 Transition Sentinel Alloy

Absolutely brand new to the lineup with a fresh new name, Transition have added the 2018 Transition Sentinel 29er.

The 2018 Transition Sentinel fit’s nicely between the Scout and Patrol in travel range, and is capable of being used in the same manner of both bikes depending on your preference for travel and wheelsizes.

With Transitions SBG (speed, balance, Geometry) being used across all models its keeping them ahead of the game for at least a year before everyone catches up. It is specially key here on the Transition Sentinel where a bigger wheel can loose maneuverability, but with SBG you keep the well known playful character from Transitions range even when sporting bigger travel and bigger wheels.

Again you gain increased seat post insertion like the Patrol and Scout models giving you a better fit and option with dropper posts on the market.

Transition are providing rattle free internal cable port covers across the whole 2018 range. No one likes to hear their bike rattling its way down the trail. Some near molded downtube and chainstat protection provided across all models again. Its the little touches that finish it.

We are betting on the 2018 Transition Sentinel flying out the door for 2018. The craze for big travel 29ers right now is huge and we feel Transition have it spot on with the new Sentinel and SBG.

Please Note - If purchasing a “Frame Only” the frame is designed around using a Fox 42mm Offset fork or a Rockshox 44mm offset fork which can be purchased as a frame & fork combo above. Using a different offset fork will defeat the object of Transitions Speed Balance Geometry.
